OK, its only been 4 months since my last post. I hope no one thinks I am a slacker. In my defence I suspect that my blog is not the most popular on SG, and, not a great deal of great importance has happened to me.
To start, I have not returned to SE Asia as I wanted to. A few things have kept me in Australia. My psycho dependent mother for one, but I believe I have sorted out that situation. Also, I have found myself caught up with a few activities, and I find relaxing at home is fun. But, but I am going back in mid February, maybe for a few months so that I can visit Vietnam and Laos, but maybe for the remainder of 2007. I will see how it goes.
Has anyone being watching comet McNaught? Astronomy is a hobby of mine. McNaught has been the brightest comet for many years. Over the last week it have moved into the southern skies and the views from Australia have been fantastic. I have put a few pics into my pic list. Take a look.
And, does anyone think that youg girls are growing up too fast? I mean_a friend of mine has a daughter, 8 years old (almost 9 as she frequently says). Last night I went out to dinner with my friend and her daugher. In the past the daughter and I shared something from the children's menu, like macaroni soldiers (very tasty, ask for extra garlic), but this time she refused! She wanted an 'adults' meal. And, she did not want to colour in the children's activity sheet with me!
