Well I went to see Corpse Bride. While I liked it, I thought it lacked the kick of Nightmare Before Christmas. The songs were nowhere near as good, at least 3 blatant screw ups in the movie such as: The Captain Crunch pirate runs around with a sword sticking in his belly from the front. When the hero dies and goes to dead land he grabs the sword to fend off the others and lo and behold, it's stuck in from the back, next scene when he puts him down it's out of the front again. 2. When he takes her to the surface she makes a large deal about it being soo long since she was up there, but she was up there not more than 5 minutes earlier when she got the ring on her finger. 3 i'll let you all find that one.

I wasn't blown away like I was with Nightmare, the plot was a little slack, the acting a little slacker and the mess ups....well.... not accecptable in a movie that is done with models and not real actors. I give it a 3 out of 5 and I only do that because other than the glaring screw ups, the puppetry was done masterfully, just like Nightmare.
