for the last 2 months i have been saving and planning for a 50th surpirse party for my dad....$682.98 later...it all paid off....he arrived at the hall around 7:30...when he walked in i pushed play on the cd player.."you are my sunshine" (the song he use to sing to me when i was younger) blared and i saw his face light up...his eyes glaze...and a smile spread from ear to ear...we yelled surpirse and i ran over and looked him in the eyes and told him i loved him....when he hugged me i could no longer hold back the excitement and i felt my cheeks getting salty....i was so happy because everything worked out the way i had hoped it would.....
the night went on and it was just perfect....about 50 people or so showed up....it was amazing....my dad was in his glory....then i brought out the cake....see now my parents 24th wedding anniversary is on monday so i thought it would be sorta neat if i got a picture of the two of them from when they first started dating way back when and get it put on the cake....when they saw it they looked at each other and just fell in love all over again....they are so disgustingly perfect for each....haha....
so yes the party was a success....me and my aunts,lori and diane, my mum, and my cousin amy got plastered and sang along to all the songs that were played...it was a lovely good time...hehe...
after everything had died down and clean up was over and done with....annaliesa and jeff and stephie all came back home with me and finished off the last of the beer and smirnoff...we had so much fun being dumb and drunk...i guess i was alittle too dumb and drunk because for some reason or another i decided to go online and talk to jason....oh bad bad idea....in slurred and drunken words i blurted out many times how muchi liked him and so on so forth....he told me i was drunk and that i should go to bed....i got off line and then went back on after i realized what a moron i had been....i told him i was sorry for making such an ass out of myself...he told me that i hadnt and that everything was ok....then he invited me to go with him over to mikeys tongiht so i could sing while they jammed...i was in heaven....
now im just waiting for the phone to ring.......
