Dammit, three of my friends have gone grey.

I'll be posting more regularly from now on, but will rant less. Any objections?

Tonight I am a having a night on the town to celebrate a good friend's birthday.

Playing pool and drinking vodka.

My computer is full of crap, half installed software, not to mention adware (thanks Kazaa) and god knows what.

So today, I'm backing up everything onto CD, wipe the harddisk clean, reinstall Windows, apps, etc.

You should try that sometime, it's like having a new computer.

Won't be back until that is all done. 3 hours. Maybe 4.

I can't believe how many freaking files I've accumulated in the last 4 months. I just burned my 3rd CD.

...some time passes...

Reinstalled Windows XP.
Now I only(!) need to install 45 critical updates and service packs, possibible 25 optional components and 2 device driver updates.
