Ok, update time.
Thanksgiving was nice. If you look beyond the fact that my brother's family is a little weird.
Dinner and drinking with the family followed by $6.50 for a shot of powers and a pint of Schrimshaw at the local pub with moonbeam and friends. Mostly a good night.
Today was a whole lot of nothing. Kinda nice. Deadliest Catch marathon and poking around on the intern There was lightning earlier and I'm hoping it starts up again. Moonbeam is coming over and there is nothing I want ore than to sit by the fire in blankets and read (yes, I do realize that somewhere along my journey I got old.)
We did, as promised, have an enjoyable time housesitting. I could've used a little more time together but I was an idiot that didn't coordinate my ride and ability to fight the lethargic effects of tryptophan and copious amounts of whiskey and beer. We did a lot of testing our sexual tastes and indulging our secret desires but it was the ability to wake up next to each other that I really loved. (Cue the sappiness, I know) Knowing that I could turn over at any time and put my arms around her was special. (Kicking the crap out each other in the shower wasn't bad either) I am lucky to have her. (I'm sure a lot of you agree.)
Yes there were pictures. Yes, we might show'em. As usual, you gotta ask her to see them. She's the boss. (Not all of them, mind you. Some are for our eyes (mostly) only.
BBQ tomorrow and the 49r game on Sunday. Should be a pretty nice weekend.
