Where to start, where to start, where to start?

First things first, you might be looking at a new home owner. Two nights ago, I signed the official loan agreement and they cashed the check for the closing costs. Should be a matter of a couple of days before we can fumigate (it has very very very minor termite damage, thank god) and then paint and fix it up a little. So that means, in a matter of a week to a week and a half, I should be living in my own place. All of you that want an invite to the housewarming BBQ, let me know and I'll shoot one out to you somehow.

What else?

I've been almost good on the walking resolution and could be a lot better on the reading one. It is only gonna get worse next week when I am moving. (I might substitute carrying large heavy boxes in lieu of walking miles.) Finances are for after the official move.

And then there is the love life. My interest is still in someone extremely special. I don't see her as much as I'd like but it is only because she occupies her time with a lot of work/ education related activities. I've been given a deadline for when some of these end so I am really looking forward to hanging out with her. I just hope she can tolerate my impatience and recognize it as a desire to spend time with her. I recently got her a subscription so you might see her around. (I assume some of you have already met her.) She keeps up with me somehow and still manages to marvel me at how smart and independent she is.

So, onto the typical business.

Next book: Malina. It came highly recommended.

Who am I listening to?: I'm back to Okkervil River. They really are amazing. As far as new bands?: Titus Andronicus have gotten my attention

And, current crush?: Hmmmm, I'd have to say that these two could keep me up all night:

Oh yeah, I almost forgot. Something is in the works for me. It is a secret though. I need to confide in my close friends and loved ones first. Once I do, I'll make sure to keep you posted.
