The most amazing thing happened to me at work.

I have a job where you really shouldn't have an ipod in your pocket because it could easily get damaged. So, stupid me, takes it out and sets it down and doesn't remeber that I did it until a few hours later. Of course it's gone. (Keep in mind, I only bought this one a few months ago after having my first one stolen.) I'm going fucking nuts. I ask all of my employees and none of them have seen it. It is turning into a pretty rotten day.

Finally, I get the balls to call some of our clients and sure enough, one of the groups that was in today found an ipod. The sister of the client took it home because she thought it was her husbands(who was at my work today). She didn't realize it wasn't his until her sister called asking about it. I guess she asked him and he was like, "No, I have mine right here."

Not only did she apologize for accidently stealing it, she brought it all of the way back and refused any kind of reward I could think of offering her. She thought I was weird for wanting to thank her for stealing. I, on the other hand, was the stupid fuck who had been bad mouthing humanity for it's thievery and black heartedness for the last hour. I couldn't believe someone wouldn't want to be thanked for bringing back it. She seemed genuinly sorry and a little embarrassed. Just when you lose all hope in our race, someone comes out and does something honest and nice and reminds you to quit being such an asshole to everybody al of the time.

Fuck, I'm starting to sound like a hippy.

On a different note, thanks for the b-day comments. I'm still recovering from last week. The party at the bar was great. At least up until the last three hours. (Those were good too but I can only say that on spoken accounts from my friends, due to lack of memory.)

My brother burned me this c.d. simply called The McCartney McManus Collaboration. It is like the lost holy grail. Two of my favorite musical artists jamming with mostly accoustic guitars. It is like I died and gone to heaven. This will be on heavyheavyheavy rotation on my newly found stolen ipod.

Have a good week. Do something nice for someone for no reason at all. I'm sure a lot of have a few Karma points to start building up.
