I'm off. And by 'off' I do not mean 'mentally damaged.' By 'off' I mean 'vacationing'. No elaborate Rube Goldberg contraptions involving life-size cardboard cutouts connected to tape recorders via an improbable arrangement of hamsters and pulleys or caped and goggled squadrons of painstakingly trained flying squirrels have been placed in my stead. And now I'm off to see me mum in the hospital who is doing much better, thank you.
