So we FINALLY got our satelite internet to work Its alittle slow and expensive, but worth every penny. I've missed SG. You all are beautiful. Afghanistan sucks, but seeing SG reminds me of all the good stuff I'll be coming back to next year.

So Obama flew all the way here to Afghanistan and didn't talk to any soldiers, at least not the real ones doin all the fighting and working. He talked to a few public affairs people and some brass, but regular soldiers weren't allowed anywhere near him.

Not too much new... BUT I had the best french fries EVER today. They sell them on the Afghan/Pakistan border at this funky bazaar. One of our interpreters brought em to me and said to try it. They were so good, alittle softer than I usually like my fries but awesome. You wrap them up in this pita bread kinda stuff and eat em like...

So it's really hot here, like 110s. Been doin lots of missions on the border, meeting lots of Afghans. They're really nice for the most part. Built a chair for my room, it's sooo ugly, pics up soon.

Scratch that last blog, someone just tried to blow me up Ten minutes after I wrote that we were attacked with small arms and rockets. Gotta learn to keep my mouth shut.

So I got a few pics up of Afghanistan, haven't had much time to get more up yet. It's really a beautiful country, too bad all this shit's goin down here. All the locals I've met have been very nice, nobody's tried to blow me up yet

Finally made it to my new home in Afghanistan, after 10 days of travel. The Army is a horrible travel agent Anywho my new spots pretty sweet, we're in a castle. Lots of pics and stuff to come.

So I'm stuck in Kyrgyzstan, formerly part of the USSR. Gonna be here a few days till we get a flight into Afghanistan. Kinda boring here since we can't drink, but the Russian women are SO beautiful and they have the most amazing accents Anyway lots of pics and video to come soon.
