Unfortunately I'm not going to be on here for about a month. We've almost finished our year here in Afghanistan. It's been a crazy experience. I'm proud of what I've done here and leave knowing I've done a little bit to make this a better place. There were times I hated being here, times I was scared to death, sad times when we lost friends. But I'm glad I came, I finally feel like I've done something worth while, something that means more to the world than my selfish little ways of old. This has been very humbling,I know I've changed....
Only have about a month left in country, which I'm very happy about. But this last month is going to be very busy with training our replacements, packing, moving, etc. So, our internet satelite contract will not be renewed, and the Army provided internet service isn't SG friendly.
I'll miss you while I'm gone, but when I get back on I'll be back in the good ol' U. S. of A. I hope everyone has a great month and I'll see you soon.
