been not so wonderful lately.
alot of family stress. they are really past the point of caring about me. from time to time they put on a smile and pretend. but really they dont show anything real.
everyone has been deciding to unload all of their problems on me. typicly ones that will cause me stress. its been so shitty.
i've been really depressed.since my injury a few weeks ago its been tuff. i'm really self conscious now because a mixture of medication i'm on, and the injury not letting me be too mobile, i have gained 10 pounds since i got hurt. this is really hitting me. i cant seem to get it back down. i'm trying to get back into an exercise routine but it hurts.
this is just frustrating me so much.
does anyone have any tips on what i can do to help some weight loss along? i need to lose about 15 to get back to my healthy form of curvyness. but i do need a bit of help if you can give it. anything?

school and so on are stressfull. but thats just how it is.

i need a break sigh

Honestly, weight loss in its simplist term is really just taking in less calories than your body needs. I would research and see exactly how many calories/carbs/fat(the good ones)/protein you need in a day to maintain or in this case lose weight.

At that point, get real friendly with writing EVERYTHING you have eaten down as you eat it, not just calories, but fat (yes you need some), carbs (they are NOT your enemy regardless of what ATKINS tells you), and protein. Keep a running total.

Also, you have to exercise, cardio will help you lose weight initially, but you need to build muscle (depending on what you have already) to keep it off. Muscle simply burns more calories than fat does, and keeps your metabolism going.

Hope this helps...and really don't expect - nor should you - lose more than 2-3 pounds a week. There is no fast easy way.

Trust me, this will work. At one point I was 29% fat, and about 30 pounds overwieght - the above, in 6 months, brought me down to 13% fat, lost 40 pounds of fat, and gained 15 of muscle - (and yes my wife loved me more...jk)

Good luck....
