so yeah...i wasnt asked to be manager:-( it was just a meeting about a recital i did last semester. oh well...i guess i figured that there is only one person who has done it as long as i have, and ive done very well (in my own opinion), i am at the head of the pack for it.

so, i just went to my high school's band alumni night. this is when all of the alumni band members can come back and play in pep band at a basketball game. its probably scary to admit, but i loved it. it was like reliving the best moments of my senior year of high school over again.

i'm friends with about one person from my school days...(of course i'm 100% fuckin old lady so that might have somethin to do with it)....people grow up ..people change...and life goes on. and on and on and on....I liked high skool and had a pretty fun time of it...although i wouldn't go back and re-live certain traumatic events....but i look back on it fondly....

man, the zoo can be tiring...all that dodging of mothers pushing strollers.

the weather was beautiful today...i dont believe ive experienced warmer, more pleasant weather in january. a perfect day for going to the st louis zoo.

so...im excited. ive been playing with a band for the past couple weeks, and i think it might actually be going somewhere. weve practice 3 times this past week, which is phenomenal. i like the music we are playing, and it seems like everyone is into it.
