Well, my birthday has come and gone once again. I am starting to get the feeling that once you pass a certain age, these things don't mean much anymore. I think I'm on the cusp of passing that age. I remember being little and waking up on my birthday and expecting the world to bow to me, because IT's MY BIRTHDAY!

On Sunday, I woke up and didn't think about the fact that it was my birthday for an hour or more, probably. I guess that's how it goes. C'est la vie.

Jessie and I ended up going to Champaign and eating at a really nice Japanese restaurant. She spent more than she could afford, and I apprecate it. (Jessie is Emaline on here, if anyone remembers her from way back).

Anyway, other than that, I'm working at the mall. I interviewed for a job working for a hotel doing Audio/Visual work. I would have put money on that I had the job. The manager basically said he was looking forward to meeting me on the first of December, when the job started. I called today, because I hadn't heard from them in a while, and they told me they had all the positions filled. It pissed me off....oh well. I don't need that job anyway.

I actually think I just figured out why I didn't get the job. The manager told me he would feel comfortable hiring someone with no previous A/V experience. I have a college degree in it. I think I was actually over qualified and asked for too much money, which is kinda funny. That is what I will tell myself the reason they didn't hire me is, anyway
