I just finished with class for the morning, and I feel pretty good. I've been running a mile and biking 3-4 about three times a week in the mornings before class. It's definitely helping me to lose weight, which is very very nice. I'm still trying to get rid of the Christmas weight I put on. although I'm getting close.

Hopefully by this summer I will be able to go to the pool or beach or something without feeling weird about my body. I mean, not that I'm not incredibly hott alreadywink

anywho...my participancy (is that a word???) on this site has dropped off...I don't really know why. Probably because I've been so busy lately. I am not going to neglect my favorite website so much nowbiggrin

Where were you when you found out someone close to you had died? (Hopefully you haven't had someone close to you, but assuming you have...A story on NPR this weekend made me think about my mom, and it's just been on my mind a bit over the past couple days)

during my high school career, two girls pretty close to me died, one right after the other.

i was online when i found out michelle died, and i didn't believe it at first at all. then, it sort of hit me, and the next day, everyone was crying and looking awful. i didn't cry until i saw her body in the casket.

i had just gotten to school when i heard kimmie died, and we all sat down in the parking lot in a big heap and just cried. it was beautiful in a really sick way. i didn't cry at all at her funeral. mostly because i couldn't bring myself to go.

everyone else that has died hasn't been very close to me (thankfully), or i don't remember it because it was so long ago.

I was working at an ice cream shoppe aptly called ice cream world over the summer when one of my close friends and coworkers asked me if she could walk me to my car after work. i figured it was just a fuckin smoke break. When I left, a shite load of customers started coming into the store and hanging around it. As soon as we were outside she told me that one of our mutual best friends had been found in lake ontario. I honestly didn't comprehend it at first and then it hit me and it was like a fuckin film scene where I dropped to the pavement and started sobbing and beating the ground screaming "it's not fair it's not fair" until she dragged me into the back of the store and forced me to sit down. I had the sleve of a mix tape he had made me in my pocket.
