Recently, a band found my instagram and decided to play at the bar that my friend owns
It was a nice change of pace for the bar. Typically, the bands are too loud and you can't hear the vocals or guitar because it's so punk rock and they aren't in a studio. But, these guys were pretty great. Their music was not the usual style (we live in a small town where folk is hidden and melodies are rare) but everyone was totally digging it. And..can you tell? I'm back to blue
I'm very happy to be going back to my natural hair color soon, teal.
Also, I realized recently people thought all I did was hang out with my chickens and smoke pot. But, did you know I have a full time job? haha. Yes, it's true. For those who read my blogs you can safely assume that you knew that already, but friends I've had in real life still think that. They also think Exning is a made up name too (thats my real name). I work at a group home for developmentally disabled, so I usually can't talk about my work on instagram and stuff like that. I've known most of the clients my whole life, as my aunt is my boss and I'm fortunate to already know the business and people surrounding it. This time of year it's about 115 degrees which means health problems, psychotic behavior, and tantrums. But, who could blame them with this heat, hah.
On a completely different topic, I just ordered new prints of these two:

This month a few minor exciting things are happening. I will be dating my boyfriend for 3 years on the 6th, I have a psych appointment which determines whether or not I get off Lithium, and I go to LA to visit the beautiful babes for the SG movie! I'm stupid stoked, it's going to be a lot of good blogging I should say
