So I was chatting with one of my fifth-grade students yesterday, and asked him if folks his age call each other dude still....like my lot did at that stage or thereabouts.

He said 'nah, mate, we call each other mate.'

It's the most standout case I've seen of Australian slang replacing American slang, instead of the other way round.

I, for one, support it. Perhaps...

Is all good. Some time early evening? Fancy a cheap meal?
thefuckoffkid:
I'd rather do Wednesday just because I know I'll have some free time. I may be able to wangle some time on the weekend but frankly September is getting manic and time will get scarcer and scarcer.

Postmodernism is taking the fun out of everything. I realise that this is a controversial position, and that for a lot of people, it makes things fun again. But it its rush to turn everything we thought we knew into mere notions, it's making the ground underneath my feet feel very unstable.

Oh my God, drooooooooooool!! That sounds so incredibly good. I will most certainly be making that. I'll let you know how it goes!

Yeah you're right babe. Implants.. well I'd be looking to spend around the twenty grand mark to get the most natural ones possible. And really, considering that people in the world are STARVING, it seems pretty fucking selfish to go spending that much doe on something as fucking dumb as my chest. But anyway, vanity is a killer, no? Lol.

And I wont be going to Australian politics just yet... i am such a hot head i know i'll go nuts and post ferocious blogs if i get involved!! though i am a wee bit curious... lol

In Naples, it's almost impossible to find pasta.

Can you fucking believe it?

The only pasta I could find, was in a shitty little takeaway shop, already cooked, and reheated in a microwave.

Cuisine FAIL.

Just did some gardening...

- collected the dried peas for later sowing
- cut up the peas and spread them as mulch
- planted oregano, capsicum, white eggplant, sage, thyme, rocket, and some other stuff
- staked the tomatoes

It's all looking good, and made me realise I should spend more time doing stuff and less time on the interwubz. (I read all the articles...

hi,

just a canon ixus, i use that for close up at work for body piercing. just got a nikon cool pix not so long ago and i have found with my second set the colours came out perfect, i didnt have to adjust the colour balance on them to match and for me i think this is enough. its simple but it takes a good photo. my bestfriend takes my photos but i supply all the equiptment which i dont mind cuz i know how they will turn out. i will slowly start building up all the supplies too. i would like to do sg photos too one day.

thanks. that means alot! i didnt wanna put a shitty set up cuz i know how much an sg set should impact on some one and i wanted that. the shoot i did last week is solid hey. totally different look too which i wanna do with each set.

well you never know whats gonna happen! where bouts are you guys situated? you can message me back rather than comment if you like.

hanging to see Countessa new sets smile

Anyone been watching and laughing/cringing about the Jesus All About Life campaign?
Christian Propaganda

And the even more hilarious/cringeworthy Jesus Racing Team who attempted to race a V8 supercar at Bathurst today?
Jesus Ute

Uncharacteristically for me, this is not an anti-Christian rant. It's an anti-Jesus All About Life campaign rant.

Does it not seem to you, that advertising Jesus like a can of coke...

i saw this post

and just wanted to let you know that you could possibly be sitting on some major money. Antique Farm equipment has a big following, not quite as big as antique cars, but there are some people out there willing to pay a lot of money for vintage equipment. Just a thought, if you ever run into money troubles there may be money in that old dozer.
quarie_glitter:
I dont know anything about them, but Jesus was about loving each other and caring for the poor and showing kindness to even your enemies......... Putting stickers on your car sounds, ahem.... interesting.. not really on the same track.
