Hooked up with three old friends (two guys and a girl) I'd lost touch with for a few years last night - what a great time! Had a great dinner, whiskey, and lots of wine. It was really touching how much they seemed to have missed me - though we hadn't parted on the best of terms, even if our grievances remained unspoken - and I didn't realize how much I missed them myself until last night. So, hopefully this will be the summer of getting to know each other again, as T. put it.
Tomorrow I'm going up to Sombrio Beach with a couple of those old friends - looking forward to that, I must say.
