This one aint relevant cos it is summer- I dug it up the other day and thought it was a good-un. Maybe someone will read it in the winter and enjoy it.
Winter Clothes
On a long and lonely track,
Walking cold and wet;
We see the strangled face of winter-
Deathly white.
His tongue licks the ground
Leaving a trail of ice-
His breath freezes the flowers and trees.
In chilling rage,
Wind bites into our skin
And screams of pain tell us to stop.
Nearing the icy heart of winter,
Our shivering souls approach-
We join hands and smile
And let our warmth
Melt the last winter day.
