What do you do when your best effort doesn't have any impact? Is it your fault or have you been failed, yet again, by what ever governing body keeps you in your place?

honestly Eve, I ask a variation of that question to myself daily at ye olde hospital for critters.
I'm way too gorked on Nyquil to ponder that for more than two seconds before it feels like my brain is imploding...I miss you though, and was just dropping by to say so.
The worst part of being sick and missing work, is missing seeing you. I wish I had a bubble so we could still hang out.

Ugh, I think I know what you mean. I keep telling myself that sometimes the effort is what has value--putting your all into something makes a difference in who you are.

But it still really sucks.
