Cobra Starship was amazing as always. It was my 7th time seeing them, and I still love going to their shows. I FINALLY got to meet Vicky-T!!! I've been wanting to meet her for like 2 years, and it finally happened, so that's exciting. I also met Alex Suarez for the first time, which was sweet. And met Gabe for the 2nd time, but this time had a nice long conversation with him about lots of stuff. At one point he was even going through my iPod and checking out my music, how cool is that? He is really an awesome guy, super easy to talk to. The night did almost have a disaster though....
So I was waiting outside for Vicky to come out, which took a little while, but eventually she came out and it was all good, I got her to sign my ticket and set list, got a hug, and then got my picture. I was so excited my hand was shaking, she's rly purdy
. But anyway, so then I went and waited for some of the other members to come out, and a little later Alex Suarez (bass) came out. I got his autograph as well then tried to get a picture taken with him....I say TRIED because the picture didn't come out, so I went to delete it.....and.....I accidentally deleted my picture with VICKY-T!!!! My heart stopped for a second. Alex saw the look on my face and I explained that I'd been wanting to meet her for all this time. But then I got another picture with him, that did come out, and I waited for Vicky to reappear. Later on she showed up and I told her what happened and she was sweet enough to take another one with me. Crisis resolved, I could then breathe properly.
I got to talking to one of the guys waiting out there about AFI/Davey Havok, and after a few minutes we saw Gabe come out, so we went over to where he was. We got autographs and pictures, then when there was no one else coming out, we went back over to Gabe and got some more pictures, just for safety lol.
Then I got to talking to Gabe and ended up having a conversation with him for quite a while, which i mentioned already. I also got to meet the singers of Hit the Lights (which will make one of my friends EXTREMELY jealous) and Forever the Sickest Kids, both of which had really good sets.
Pix of the show can be found on Myspace and vids can be found on Youtube.
All in all, I'd have to give the night 5 out of 5 stars, it IS Cobra Starship after all. And I met Victoria at long last.
