October 7 and part of the 8th was pretty much one of the greatest experiences of my life. Why you may ask? Well I'll answer that...I saw the one, the only, the incredible Opeth! Up in Los Angeles, at The Wiltern Theatre, which is an AMAZING venue, I am pretty sure I have a crush on it. I don't think I need to go into too much detail about the show...I mean it's Opeth, one of the greatest bands ever. They are absolutely FLAWLESS live, Mikael is seriously a God. I made a few videos from the show, which are on Youtube and pix are on Myspace....but there are a few pictures I'd like to share with you right here and now...if you don't mind...Well I was lucky enough to be able to meet the gods called Opeth...
But probably one of the most memorable moments of one of the greatest nights of my life would be the super secret random mystery celebrity that we happened to spot coming out of the backstage area. Apparently he had been chilling with the band....Someone you'd NEVER EVER expect to see at a death metal show....but awesome nonetheless. Care to venture a guess???
All in all, I'd rate the entire Opeth experience a perfect 5 stars out of 5. It was well worth the trip up to Los Angeles. I can't wait to do it again in April.
