Had a wonderful week in Tenerife. Although I'm not sure all inclusive was such a good idea judging on the few extra pounds I have put on.
My lovely friend was brilliant company all week - although I wish her standard built in body alarm clock didn't got off every morning at 6am - regardless of what time we got to bed!!!
It was averaging around 24 degrees all week, and as this is the first time I have been to a hot country at this time of year I found it quite strange sitting by the pool in shorts drinking sangria while Christmas songs were being played and the the flashing Santa's grotto and nativity scene where in eyeshot.
Didn't get much of a tan though - hard to do that from the bedroom of a hotel
