ahh money... the source of all evil.
i just had to redo our budget again. shopping is fun, but not when you don't have the $$$ to shop with. so back to the books i go, and fortunately we are still a bit ahead with our joint account so i can get the joint credit card (we use it each month for groceries, house supplies etc... but this month we went over board with lilly's b-day, and buying some dvd box sets and clothes for ourselves) totally paid off, along with the monthly bills and still be ahead by about 500 bucks. we're usually ahead about 1500 bucks but like i said, we've been going crazzzy spending $$$ and i haven't been keeping track of the finances as well as i should be.
as for myself, i am about 3500 in the hole, give or take a bit. i just closed out my savings account because there was 60 bucks in it and every month they were taking a "service fee" out. what the fuck service were they trying to provide besides making me poorer? the majority of the outstanding balance is left over from happyboobyfuntime, but i got most of it paid off atleast, and the rest is from my buying pet supplies and such. maybe i should downsize? i hope these geckoes produce some nice babies so i can sell them off for a decent amount.
i've also been making some sculpted severd head ornaments and hope they will be done before halloween so i can sell them. edea gave me the idea buy making decopauge boxes and selling them. you should check them out. they rock!
anyway, i feel a bit helpless because i've never not had any money to fall back on, let's say incase my car needs a new exhaust system, or i need to get medical care. i am hoping that this years bonus from DQ and tax returns will erase my debt so i can save up a little something.
and then next fall; college?!?!?!?!? if i thought having $4,000 in debet was alot, wait 'til those student loans start piling up.
if i go away to college, we are either selling this condo, or erich will have to move lilly to our room and rent hers out for the 2 years. i think we will be ok if we sell off the condo and he and the child move back with his parents for the time being, then we'll have a nice nest egg of the $$$ we make off of the condo (it;s already appreciatted in valus by about 10 grand) to get a new place when i come home, but if the value of porperty crashes like it's predicted to do then we'll be stuck renting some crappy apartment. it's a big risk but dammit, risks are something i need to start taking. there is just something so comforting about mundane stability. but it's just that. mundane. *damn i sound so "adult" *shudder**

yes comic book style is what i want i have some idea's and would love to talk it over with you some time let me know and i am serious about paying for them becuase we need to be able to put them on shirts, banners, web sites all that jazz so we need to own the drawing after you are done. Depending on how many you make i'm thinking in the $100.00 a drawing to make it worth your time . Then we can scan it into photo shop and start pumping that shit out give me a shout we'll set up a get together about it
