you know, wax worms remind me a lot of maggots. i cant stand maggots. amidst the love for all things arachnid , or other creepy crawlies, i cant bring myself to look at a maggot with anything but putrid disgust. maybe it is just how they live, or how they move or how look, or maybe its just a combination of columns A, B, and C. but they make my stomach turn. so when i am picking through the container filled with pine shavings, fishing out the wax worms for my animals, i get grossed out, naturally. especially when theyve been lying dormant in the fridge and their little bodies are so squishy soft and so cold. eew. id imagine they feel like a dead mans limp dick, just on a way smaller scale. not that ive ever touched dead cock. anyway.


hmm this entry is going no where fast....

we took lilly to the aquarium wednesday, she had a great time! then we had lunch at quincy market and got some WAY overpriced, but nontheless delicous food.

what else. i just ordered a hovabator for my gecko;s eggs. this year i dont want to wing it and use my homemade incubator and get batches of deformed babies again. nope. i sucked it up and got the incubator.
they just started laying eggs a few days ago. if anyone wants a baby let me know!

tomorrow is the wee-ones b-day!!!!!! i can't wait.
