i'm not sure what it is about walking around naked after showering, but it's damn great nontheless. maybe it's how the cool fresh air plays along damp skin, or the feeling of being so fresh and so clean clean. who knows. but i like it.
i am in such high spirits today, not for any particular reason, today has just been pleasant.maybe it's because of that dream i had contianing a particularly dorky jeffrey combs
. maybe it's because it's been the first day in almost 2 weeks that it's been nice enough to go out walking. and then after i did venture outdoors with lilly, i found out that the memorial day parade was just about to start. we walked for a bit and found a great spot on crystal ave to watch teh local troops, firemen, policeman, veterans, and marching bands. lillian was more than amazed at the event at hand. which made me so happy and glad that i had gone outside to walk. i think her favorite part was the pinkerton academy marching band, and when the police walked by with the K-9 unit where she proceed to bark at them inbetween squeals of pure glee. i miss getting that excited over the little things, but seeing her that happy surely surpassed any nostalgia. we came back home, made some lunch. played and fed all the animals. while i was in the kitchen cutting up fruits and veges for the millipedes, she thought she would help by pouring her sippee cup of juicey juice into their tank... oh well, it won't hurt them. she is sleeping now and i am getting ready for work, the only part that might put a damper on this great day. but i am sure it will be tolerable and maybe even enjoyable, since i am working with wugglyump. it usually is. plus, the clouds are getting darker. hmm maybe it will be a slow night. who cares. well i am off to savor the last couple hours of freedom before they slip away and i have to go to work. i hope everyone else had a great memorial day!

Last night was definitely a good time. I'm sorry that I had to bail so soon after getting to Scarlett's place. I didn't realize how late it was. As it is, I was an hour late to work today. Damn I'm good. I'm also very slow and kind of hungover. I could really use a helmet and maybe even a drool cup.
