this is a picture of what was once my living room floor:

throughout the later years of middle school, the entire duration of highschool, and for a couple years after graduation, i was an avid Mcfarlane fan. (i still am now, my priorities have just changed). especailly when it came to the Spawn comic ( i have the entire collection up to issue 120ish i think) and even moreso Mcfarlane Toys. their articulation and immaculate attention to acute detail drew me to them. i first started buying or trading for them through my little brother, mending any broken limbs and displaying them in my bedroom. then i was hooked. the endless search of completing a series through the process of elimination by travelling to from store to store was tiresome and grew old fast. it was impossible to keep up with the fast paced company. i began ordering complete series (usually 2 sets of each directly from toy companies online. then i could save some money and time, and have one set to keep carded and safe and one to open and display.
my mother is selling her condo, where they had all been safely tucked away in her storage closests. yesterday, she delivered 13 trashbags and 3 large boxes full of the carded toys to my little condo. so now, i have to find something to do with them. i am planning on saving a good chunk of them, but i am thinking about selling the rest. sometime in the near future i will by catagorizing each set and series, looking up pricing info and be putting them on the market.
if you or you know anyone that is interested in old mcfarlane toys, let me know, chances are i have it.

I doubt I could afford to pay what they're worth, but if you find yourself in need of a safe place to store them, I have plenty of room in my new apartment closets, attic, etc. I hate to see you have to part with them. frown
