today i am a very happy boy
last night i finely got to see feeder after 6 years of trying.
It all started along long time ago in a festival far far away............
In 2002 me and a mate went to the reading festival one of the reasons we went was because feeder were playing. The plan was to watch weezer on the main stage then run over to the tent for feeders set unfortunately just at the end of weezer set it started to rain so everyone piled into the tent to take shelter but me and my mate being the weezer geeks we are stayed to the end of the set. so when we make owe way over to the tent it is rammed to the gills with masses of lame people who didnt want to get there hair wet so we couldnt get in to see them
since then for one reason or other i have missed them every time they tour but this year my girlfriends sisters friend had spare tickets so i bit there hand off to go
Trying to get to brixton from docklands was a nightmare. There was a fire on the jubilee line so that was closed. We tried the DLR and nearly got shoved on the fucking rails then went back to the tube just as it was re opening. Got on a rammed tube (my girlfriend has claustrophobia so she doesnt like tubes at the best of times let alone when her face it pushed up against the glass.) after a few changes and a couple more delays due to a train BACKING UP!! we got there.
The gig was wicked and i got to hear 2 tracks i have always wanted to hear live. insomnia and the set closer just a day i was so happy till we got back to the tube station to find they had closed it at 10 for maintenance
so we had to get a replacement bus with the other million pissed of people. All in all a wicked night
