I'm taking stupid steroids to reduce the stupid swelling in my stupid throat, and I stupidly can't sleep. it's stupid.

well....it started with a sore throat and just plain old cold-like things. I went to the doctor finally, because I had no voice (not even a whisper) and my throat was so swollen it was...gross....touching itself. he gave me a steroid shot and antibotics for an URI. woooo hoooo. a week later, still no voice, so dose pack of steroids. now I have a (mostly) voice...but I can't sleep.

whine, whine, moan. gripe.
