so i've had a few complaints about my profile pix. people thinking it's frightening/disturbing or somesuch. i don't think i'm going to be changing it, though. i'm rather fond that cat mask. if it wasn't so damned stuffy under there, i'd wear it out more often.

art star benefit party went very well. now i just have to get to work on their website. that actually reminds me that i have some updates to do on my site, too.

went to home depot looking for some sort of spiky strip to put on the top of my air conditioner so that the pidgeons that have infested my neighbors house do not do the same to me. the employees there, apparently, have never heard of such a thing. so i bought a roll of duct tape and a box of long, pokey nails and made one myself. custome fit and all.

also did a bit of gardening/backyard clean up. need to have waxy over to clue me in on what i should keep and what i can cut down. i did trim back the 10 foot rose stems, though. they kept trying to eat me while i was cleaning.

oh, also finally out of old place. ya! didn't even have to take down makeshift storage thing. landlady is just going to keep it for next tenants. so that's that, mattress man. now just need to unpack many more boxes and take a trip or three to ikea. i'm a little sad that i have been to busy to get there yet. oh well... maybe tomorrow night.
