Ok.
Butterfly time.
Tomorrow I have my first ever business trip.

I've worked as a chef for most of the last 20 years, so the idea of travel for work has never entered my mind.

I now work for one of those huge hospitality corporations, and because it seems I'm good at the number crunching, my job mostly has me in an office or dealing with the clients.

So my boss is sending me on a course to "enhance my marketable skills".

I other words, justify why he wants to give me more resposibility to his bosses.

Now this does put me in a position where, if I do well, promotions are looming in the future. But I've never done anything like this. I'm mostly self taught. No post secondary at all.

So, the butterflys. I'm not worried about any one thing. It's just that the whole experience is an unknown.



So I'm in Toronto Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. I spend Thursday doing my real job and leave for Sin City on Friday!

Vegas will be a whole new experience too.

I've never been more than 2 hours out of my time zone!

Never been anywhere warm in the winter!!

This is going to be whole bunches of Cool!
