Here goes. A little known fact about me is in my spare time I write poetry. I will occasionly post it on here. Let me know what you think. The more feedback I get the more I'll post and feel inspired to write more!

Life

Life is a mysterious thing,
Youll never know what it will bring.
Will you be blessed with a silver spoon?
Or be forced to sleep under the moon?
Will you have the strength to fight?
Or shake in the middle of the night?
I seem to be in a struggle to survive,
But I will always continue to strive.
My past friends have abandoned me,
For my feelings they could not see.
I try so hard to be honest and true,
But for most that will not do.
Im tired of trying to be someone Im not,
It makes my insides twist and rot.
I will be me as much as I can,
I have no master plan.
I live my life everyday,
Seeing what it brings my way.
I will not roll over and die,
I wont let others see me cry.
I will remain strong and true,
If anybody messes with me I say fuck you.
Are you a fighter too?
Can you do what I do?
Persevere no matter what,
Take life in cut by cut.
Pain lets you know that you are alive,
Never kneel or take a dive.
Continue to fight everyday,
Live life your own way.
I will always be by my friends side,
They will never have to run and hide.
Life can be very difficult to get through,
But remember, I am there for you.
