So, this is my first consecutive 2 days off work since I got off school, finally. I have slept past 4pm for the past week, it felt nice.
Alright, my boyfriend (we'll call him D) has decided that he wants marijuana to be decriminalized in St. Louis city. He has already had a meeting with election officials as well as a lawyer who is currently doing the research required to write up the law. It seems that it can definitely get on the ballot, but past that who knows? I am a pessimist by nature, so of course my feelings are generally negative (there are still a lot of old baptists in St. Louis city).
So if anyone lives in STL city or has friends/family there... what do you think? Can it pass? Would you/family/friends vote for or against it?
May I remind anyone who may not be aware that decriminalized simply means we wouldn't put people in prison for it, but it would still be illegal (you would basically recieve something equivalent to a parking ticket).
