Oh Alaska. The men here are so fucking weird. I went out on a "date" the other day, and it was definitely a miss. The guy just talked about painting exteriors. Seriously, he called me last night and went on about a paint job for like 10 minutes. I want to yell at him, "How can you think I'd be interested in that?!!!" Now I need a plan to get rid of him. Oh, and he's always eating Lifesavers so his lips are always bright red. It's really weird. In other news, I started work the other day and it seems pretty cool. I think I'll make friends there. I'm kinda bored right now. I put a profile on Match.com. I didn't think I would ever do that. Hmmm...are my standards dropping? Or am I just desperate for some human contact? I ran into my old housemate from up here and she gave me the number of the guy I was sort of seeing the last time I lived here. He's such a cool guy, but I don't know if I have the balls to call him. What if he doesn't remember me? What if he thinks it's really weird of me to call him? I don't know what to do. Tell me what to do people. Please!
