Hello all.
Chris surprised me with a trip out to LA to go house hunting last week! It was so nice to get the heck out of the snow for a little while. I had forgotten how much I love the west coast. I spent a few years out there in college. We didn't find a house that was quite what we wanted, but now we at least have a good idea of the area that we would like to live in.
I finished packing up my house. Everything I own is now in storage. It was hard to pack away all of the little things that make me happy knowing I wasn't going to see them for a couple of months, but there is just no room for all of it in Chris' house right now. I did bring a few pieces of my artwork, a couple of plants and my guitar. That will have to do for now.
Chris' mom is coming from Alabama to stay with us for a week. Everyone pray for me to not have a meltdown and kill her! She can be a bit nosy and kind of snippy. Wish me luck.
