I walked out of my house this morning and decided to start walking. I had my mp3 player fully charged, comfortable shoes, and 8 hours to kill. After an hour or so, I found myself at the huge tourist trap that is the Golden Gate Bridge. But why stop here?, I wondered to myself, and I continued on my aimless trek, crossing the bridge into Marin County. However, upon reaching the other side, I saw a group of familiar faces: a group of friends with whom I had just hung out the previous night. It was odd that several of my friends also had the same spontaneous idea of braving tourists and crossing the bridge. On the same day. At the same time. We went to the fort near the bridge and did some touristy stuff that none of us would have ever done had we all not been in our right minds, but it was strangely fun.
Well, aside from that weird coincidence, that story had no real point. But it was cool when it happened, I promise!
Oh, and I just saw Garbage tonight. Nothing like seeing one of my favorite bands from the 90s to make me instantly nostalgic! Great show, though!

The bridge story is pretty crazy. I've never made it out there on foot myself. From where I'm coming from I usually am like, "Fuck this" by the time I get to the Cliff House.
