So I finally got a job! My friend hooked me up with a job at a warranty outsourcing place... basically I sit at a computer for eight hours a day and occasioanlly answer the phone. Apparently this is the dead season; the holidays are when we get thousands of calls a day. The salary is decent, but I only get paid once a month...
It's not something that I intend to keep much longer than 6 months (just watch though, come next February I'll grudgingly be a manager or something), but they say that you always find work when you don't need it and aren't looking for it (apparently the same thing goes with women.. now I just need someone to act as my girlfriend for a while and I'd be set!). So I'll probably find a better job soon enough. Maybe. Possibly. I hope.
