I've been prety inactive on the net for the past week or so. My friends and I have been looking for a place to live, and I think we may have found it: a place in the Richmomd District on 40th Ave and Geary (close to a direct line to UCSF where one of my roomates will go, and in a safe area in an area with plenty of parking). We're just stressing over getting all the payments in (and apparently the landlord wants proof that we can pay the bills, and since I have yet to secure a job I'm a bit worried about that... but that's what temp agencies are for, I guess! ) It's a nice house that truly felt like home (perhaps due in no small part to the fact that the current tenants had Joy Division posters, Kurt Vonnegut books, a car with Smiths and Depeche Mode stickers in the driveway, and cds and records strewn about)

I'm also taking a weeklong vacation to New York a few days after I move, with my two best friends. Can't wait for that. I'm just trying to find out cool divey bars and good shows to go to. The Prids are playing the day we arrive, and The Blood Brothers are playing in on our last night there, so I'm gonna try to sway my friends toward those.

I suppose that's it for now. This week will see me going to teh Nekromantix/Horrorpops show in SF and the Live 105 BFD as a graduation present from my friend.. And hopefully I'll be able to secure some form of San Francisco employment in between.
