today has been my filthiest day in a very long time. i came home from work covered in glue and sawdust. it's hard to open my eyes again when i blink. man, am i fed up with that place.
the day after tomorrow i leave for vegas. this is what i have to look forward to: working 16 stressful hours for 4 or 5 days, then 3 or so days off, then another four days of hell and long hours. then i'm unemployed. that will give me time to put a lot of things in order and get going on some of the things that i have put on hold for many months.
so this is bound to be the last journal entry i write complaining about it and going on about how i should ditch them and find a place to live.
on a more positive work related note, the people who own the company told me that they really appreciate me and actually said that i was one of their favorite employees. i was surprised, seeing as how i love metal and all. maybe i haven't been rocking iron monkey loud enough to really drive them crazy. and actually, now that i think about it, i'm not sure that being a favorite employee is such a great thing, since it means that they will want me to be around. i'm trying to ESCAPE the trap of building trade show booths!!!!

yeh, i'm a night owl...i have problems with sleeping when i want to..i guess i think too much *shrugs*
