I don't know what it is...but I've been in somewhat of a funk lately. Winter blues, maybe. I dunno, just can't seem to get myself enthused about much these days. School starts today (I've got class in a couple of hours) and hopefully that'll get me back in the creative spirit again. Or shit, maybe even upping the antidepressants might be in order. Meh, I haven't painted in over six months... I haven't written anything new that really excited me in weeks. Blah, blah blah.
Just got back from a mini-tour with some good friends. It was good to get out of the city (and more specifically, the daily grind of festering at work followed by languishing in my apartment) for a while. Nothing too exciting to report from the road -- shows were decent (some better than others, of course). Things in general were a far cry from back in the day... booze-fueled antics and self-destructive posturing no longer holding quite the charms they once may have. Older and wiser, maybe. Jaded and regretful, somewhat.
On a not altogether unrelated note, I need a girlfriend.
