I was having a good morning. Felt unusually invigorated after a hot shower, the sun that was shining brightly actually made me smile and I felt a sense of contentment I hadn't felt in quite some time. And it got better.

Driving to work, I was doing a relaxed 100 km/h on a straight main road where the speed limit is 90. A small car overtook me. It must have been doing 120 at least. Behind the wheel: a typical old lady. Grey hair, perm, the works. The fact that she overtook me and was speeding like that, put the biggest grin on my face and made me think that maybe, somehow, there is hope for humanity yet.
