Okay, I'm coherent. Sleep is good.. Anyway, recently an old song I liked for the five minutes it was on the air back in the late nineties came to mind. After realizing I never found out who the band responsible was, I Googled some of the lyrics and found a Swedish indie-rock band called Souls, remembered by apparently all of five people, (What my obsession with the number five is, I don't know.) was. I'm already picking up, <i>Bird, Fish, or Inbetween</i>, their one album that was released in the States, but they apparently released another that never made it over. It surprises me that they were never really noticed, considering the sound their music, especially since they did a couple concerts with Bush and were under the same label. Hopefully the kind people in the SG forums will be able to give some info on their elusive, foreign album.

Also, the Minibosses rock. I went to their first Chicago show at the Double Door last week. I don't think I came out with all of my hearing in tact, but it was awesome to see them live. Besides, it was great to hear the reaction from the people in the crowd who had never heard of them before. Excerpt:

Random guy one: That was unbelievable. They blew my fucking mind! I had no idea!
Random guy two: I told you. You have expand your horizons.

Yeah, they rock. Hopefully they won't take long to make a return trip.
