It's not been very long, but it feels strange to go back and read my previous post. My writing usually isn't very self-indulgent, but I can't help but feel the last post reads like I was padding my ego. This makes me wish I remembered precisely where I was trying to go with the post when I first wrote that beginning to it months ago, or else that I could hide that bit of writing away and never let anyone see it. While I could technically do the latter, It's not something I would ever feel comfortable doing, and while there are several more concerns about the post swimming through my head at present, in the end, it's a freaking blog post. I shouldn't be worrying so much about it.

On an unrelated note, my sister, who lives out in LA and has some qualm with most movies she's ever seen, called me one night just to enthusiastically recommend Pan's Labyrinth, saying it was one of the few movies she's ever seen with which she has none,. This was a recommendation she would repeat the next time we spoke to each other. She would, in fact, start the conversation with it. Did I mention I had already wanted to see it before her recommendation? So yes, I must watch it sometime soon. I really don't feel as though I have a choice in the matter. Furthermore, I will probably do so alone because my normal movie-watching companions are being, I believe the technically precise terms is, lame. I cannot possibly be the only person interested in watching this film.
