I've been meaning to update for some time and have a good deal to say, however, my right wrist is killing me, I swear, I'm going to have carpal-tunnel syndrome by the time I graduate from all the papers I've been writing. I want to at least briefly comment on a few things. First, Gromit is awesome. If you have not seen his new movie yet, you should. That claymation dog is my hero. Seriously. If someone were to ask me what I wanted to be when I grow up right now, nevermind my current age, I'd probably answer, "Gromit." Because Gromit just rocks that hard. I haven't even called him Vincent. Why, I'm not sure, but apparently there's a heirarchy here, and it places awesome claymation dogs above Lost.

Also, people seriously need to realize that every product with an "i" in front of it is seriously over-rated and not a gift from God. I was originally working on a obscenely long rant on iPods, but the fact is they're not worth it. Their battery life is and alwys has been horrid. Instead of fixing this Apple's released a version that can play videos, but cuts down it's battery life even further. It's still more expensive than its competitors, which have greater functionality, and it's DRM-crippled. DRM, if you haven't been keeping track, is the most user-unfriendly technology ever invented and, in every case I've seen, cripples the consumer in an attempt to save corporations money. In the case of a V-iPod, the DRM refuses to play the digital file of a movie you legally own but ripped; though, Apple is being kind enough to sell you a digital version for your iPod that you cannot burn on a DVD. Personally, I'll stick with my Archos and keep my money.

Finally the SG show Friday night was pretty awesome. It cemented in my mind more than ever that I'm a fan of the site more for the girls than the nudity. I've nothing against the nudity, of course, but it's really the girls that keep me here. If the site were without girls like Rys, Bee, Malloreigh, Olivia (who needs to update more often), Jessie, etc. and had faceless porn-stars or random nude models in their place, I wouldn't be here. (On a related note, I need a longer favorites list.) In short, I like my Suicide Girls, their attitudes and blogs as much as their pics. The same goes for the site as a whole. Of course, this means I got pissed at some people making assinine comments about and towards the girls at the show, but it was still awesome overall. Rock on girls, rock on. Also, go tell Odette you like her ears. They were really a great touch.
