I don't know how Mirrormask got into theaters without my noticing, but if I had to take a guess, it'd probably be the same way Wallace and Gromit - Curse of the Were-Rabbit snuck up on me. This is what I get for not paying attention to movies for the past half-year or so. I'm much more likely to Netflix a given movie than to go out and see it, but what bothers me is not the notion that I've missed a movie in the theaters. Rather, I'm bothered by the idea of having missed the existence of a movie I might have really wanted to see had I noticed it. Also, now that I've started paying attention to movies again, I''ve come across quite a few that have caught my eye, and I have still yet to see Serenity.

One thing that bothers me, though, is I've heard some people say Mirrormask's story is fairly light on substance. Considering that Neil Gaiman is responsible for the story, I find this somewhat hard to believe. Even so, the direction is such that I might want to see it even were I to take the critics at their word.

On a seperate note, whatever it is that brings ideas to my head has begun to stir again. I unfortunately don't have the time to stop paying attention to class and start writing about whatever world just possessed me, so it's a bit maltimed. Hopefully it won't come to that, but then it never gives me any guarantees.
