Some people cannot be casual. It's just not for them. Casual sex especially. A close girlfriend of mine is a casual victim of her desire to be casual ironically. It's not for her.
I have never found a problem in any casual relationship I've developed. But I always remain distant because I don't want to be hurt and feel like a 'victim' of someone else's desires. I think that's why I've been single for so long. It's been like 4 years.
I'm just over analytical and always question what people think, especially about me when it concerns romance or intimacy. But when I have to see my friends suffering from someone along those lines, I feel like I'm doing the right thing and not letting something bad into my life. My standards are way high and not being lower for anything. No matter how lonely I get.
