Bloody hell, when was my last journal? In March? That's like what, nearly 6 months ago now? Holy flying fuck Batman!
Anyway!
So I guess plenty of things have happened since March. Fuck knows what I remember and what I can be arsed typing but here goes.
Got my car fixed, although it's now coughing like a bitch, better get that checked out. Costly mother fucker, but I couldn't live without it living in Erskine. It's looking good now, just needs abit of TLC under the cover.
Work is going well I suppose. Moved up a level, which means more pay, which is good. However, recently I got caught doing a stupid thing which ended up in landing a nice disiplinary for myself. So after nearly losing my job I skive off with a written warning. Lucky bastard that I am. Lesson learned and such. Not enjoying work so much in all honesty. The whole working of the so called efficient call centre has gone balls up in my opinion. I'm going to start looking for jobs I reckon. Something in the Games Workshop would go down a treat.
So for me, the festival year is finished. Wacken was amazing. Getting to see Cannibal Corpse play songs that have been banned in Germany for years was a great humbling thing. God knows why, but I like knowing that I can say, "yeah, I was there when they played Hammer Smashed Face in Germany for the first time after the ban" FUCKING RIGHT! Type O Negative were a band that I hadn't listened or seen one video of. They blew me away. Needless to say, I shall be perchasing some of there stuff fo sho! And Municipal Waste are going to fuck you up. End quote.
Good weather, good beer, good friends and good bands. What more could you ask for.
Bloodstock was also very good. Although I was there more for the fact of the many people I knew that were going. Alot of old english and irish friends that I hadn't seen in a while. It was great to see them. The band of the festival had to be Korpiklaani. They just make me happy. Great fun was had.

So it comes near the end, but never fear, I have a hum dinger of a situation to be in.
Women, they are a troublesome breed, even more so to us male types.
You might remember me telling you about a girl at work, who's team I was going to join. Well, her name is Gemma. Red haired bombshell is how i'd describe her. Gorgeous. Well, needless to say, I liked her quite abit. We got talking, seem to get on like a house on fire. Went out a couple of times, dirt was released ofcourse. Ok I thought, i'll just tell her how I feel, so I did. She wasn't ready, I can accept that, so we are basically best friends. Scratch that, she's the best friend i've ever had. We spend alot of time together, seeing we work together also. We still get on like a house on fire and many people have mistaken us for a couple. I seem to fall into this situation quite a bit though, the whole best friend bag, and I mean the best friend bag e.g. hanging around together all the time, watching films while hugging on the sofa, sleeping in the same bed when staying overnight sort of best friend. Or am I just being a typical bloke by not seeing the signs. Not that I don't like it. I love having her around and being around her, and I would do nothing to change our relationship, if not only to make it better or to become closer. Thats the thing though. I don't know whether she's thinking of me as a mate due to me not making a move sooner, or plainly because she's not interested in me in that way(which I wouldn't mind if she didn't, I love her to bits as a mate)
I don't know what to do. People keep telling me what to do, but not what they think. In my experiance, women are the best to judge women, and not even my mother(who gets on very well with her) wants to tell me whether or not she thinks she likes me in that way.
I reckon something will happen eventually, but when is another question. I might be completely wrong ofcourse.
All in all, i'm happy, she's filled a huge gap. I have that female company I longed for, gained a life long best friend and hopefully, maybe in the future, something more.
I just wish I could figure it out.
So yeah, that's pretty much why I haven't been online in so long. I'm out with Gemma most the time. Which is good. I've got myself away from the interenet to realise it's not the be all and end all.
I've become quite a book monkey also.
Harry Potter being my subject recently. I'm on the fifth book, Order of the Pheonix, and i'm enjoying them much more than I though I would, especially as they get older and the books darker. So yeah, good stuff.
All in all i'm fine. If you swing over to my Myspace, add me, comment, what ever.
Give me a buzz either way. I've missed this place.
Also, I was generous enough to buy my friend an account. She's down there, Softparody, go say hi, she's new

Glad the festivals were good, I wish I could have made it to a few more this summer. Good luck with your lady friend too

Thanks
I didn't even get a reply in the end though
. I'm going to constantly apply at Stirling though so who knows, I may get lucky next time.
