"Oh, indeed...."

It occurred to me that I have not written a proper journal in quite a long time. In fact, though journal writing was never my strong suit, I really don't feel the need to do it much anymore. Seems all I can muster lately is a picture or two, or a few sentences.

So...let's see...what do we got.... I guess not much is going on around here. We are anticipating new gutters to be put on the house any fucking day now. Fucking home repair contractors, they tell you "oh sure, we'll be able to get in there and get it done by the end of the week", but that actually translates to about 3 weeks minimum. Bastards.

I hung up a bird house today. We have tons of birds in our yard at all times, so I hope some tenants find it and move in soon. We actually have another to hang up, but I'd better consult Missy before I put it up.

Two of my favorite TV shows have ended their seasons in the past week - The Shield and The Real World / Road Rules Challenge. The former won't be back 'till January and the latter...who the fuck knows....MTV is so sporadic with their schedule.

I'm super happy that RxQueen has returned to the land of SG, I was missing her around here....but it hardly makes up for the people that may be leaving.

Well, that's the most I've typed in the last 8 months of journals combined, even ran it through the ol' spell check. Haven't done that in years! But I need to cut it off here because the animals need their dinner...and so do I.
