I'm such a stupid shithead! I'm feeling so sad and am also pretty angry at myself. What am I for an incredible schlemiel?!

I fell in love with a married man through the internet. We have been talking to each other for about 8 months now, very intensively. In the beginnen I didn't know he was married. After a while he told me and instead of telling him goodbye I stuck with him, because I had already developed strong feelings for him. We've never met, but that didn't keep me from falling in love with him. (yep, we do use webcams) How stupid can one be?!

Why I'm so sad now? Well, today his wife gave birth to their baby (the first reason) and I've decided I really can't keep up with this (the second reason).

I've heard these stories before and could never understand how someone could fall in love with a married man and not give up on him. It's not that he has ever told me he would leave his wife for me! We just seem so right together.....

Ok, writing this down helps. Are there others who have been in a situation like this and can help me sticking with my decision to give up on him? Could use some support......
