Okay so... good news?
I got a job! And a good one too... small growing company, young guy owns it... just doing IT stuff from managing an ISP to bughunting through code and managing code libraries. Apparently I'll get to move around a lot which is good since I'm a very multi-disciplinary person.
Bad news?
Ebay didn't sell my shit. It's the 4th and I haven't paid a single one of my bills. Haven't paid rent. Loans. Nothing... all because I've been counting on selling this office furniture....
but it seems like people can't wrap their heads around the fact that it's not cheap! You're not going to pick up a filing cabinet that is as nice as mine for $30. Especially considering how new the thing still is...
But alas, I dunno. I'm broke and owe money. Lots of money. I have a nice job now that can pay for it all... but man, I just wish I had a grace period for this month to get on my feet.
Ah well.. gotta keep motoring along. At least I'm enjoying my bike -- it's pretty awesome having one. I'm actually going to bike to a different city this weekend... my first long trip.
It'll be fun! I'll try and take some pics. Cheers.
