Oh America.. land of news anchors that tell their guests to 'shut up,' where dissent is important to keep political power in check but is becoming closer to illegal, and where the leaders still spread hate, bigotry, and ignorance.
I don't even live in America and I'm tired of all the American conservative harpies who just screech about how they're "winning."
I don't think I've met a single one that can assert their reasons for their political alignment on fact. They just keep parroting what they hear on Fox News.
Which is I guess the whole zeitgeist of conservatism.. but ick.
The reason why I'm upset by this is somehow, it's spilling over into Canada. Up until last week, as far as we knew, things were fine here and our rights were upheld... now suddenly the Canadian government wants to invade our privacy and threaten free speech.
